You will lead our Engagement and Learning & Development objectives through a range of innovative, effective and value for money initiatives that reflect best practice to support our business needs. Working closely with both our Learning & Development Manager and Engagement Manager, you will oversee the design and procurement of relevant annual learning initiatives and employee engagement activities.  This will include reviewing and implementing relevant accreditations that support and recognise the work undertaken at Onward.

This role is fixed term for 12 months covering maternity leave.  Ideally, we are looking for the right applicant to have experience of working at a senior level, who is commercially focused, with up to date knowledge of learning and development practices and engagement.  It is essential you have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work to deadline and prioritise effectively.

The base location for this role is Manchester. However please note that due to Covid-19, we have adapted our working arrangements under government guidelines and Safe Systems of Work and the role is currently home working.
