ForAllWe – Digital accessibility, inclusive gaming and online education

ForAllWe is an international community blog focused on digital accessibility, with particular attention to inclusive gaming, accessible technology, and online education. It’s run by accessibility advocates based in Italy and works with contributors from different backgrounds, including disabled writers.

What ForAllWe does

The site publishes articles, reflections, and interviews exploring how digital spaces can be made more accessible and usable for disabled people. Rather than focusing on compliance or technical standards alone, ForAllWe looks at accessibility as something shaped by culture, participation, and everyday experience.

Its core areas include:

  • Accessible and inclusive gaming
  • Digital accessibility in everyday tools and platforms
  • Assistive technology and emerging tech
  • Inclusive approaches to online education

Who’s behind it

ForAllWe was founded by Matteo, Claudia, and Roberto Gandolfo, who are involved in disability inclusion and accessibility advocacy. Roberto is also president of flyLILLO ETS, an organisation registered in Italy’s Third Sector Register, which works internationally to promote disability inclusion in gaming, technology, and digital innovation.

The founders describe the blog as growing out of years of volunteer work and community involvement. As Roberto explains:

“Our experience stems from many years of volunteer work, which led to the creation of flyLILLO and subsequently to the Blog. We promote social inclusion also through the work of our Blog, which aims to become a community blog open to everyone.”

How disabled people are involved

ForAllWe works with a network of contributors through flyLILLO and related community contacts. Disabled people are involved directly in shaping content, and contributors are paid for their work — something the team highlights as particularly important in a context where paid opportunities for disabled people can be limited.

As Roberto notes:

“The people who write for the Blog receive a contribution for each individual article, giving them the opportunity to have a small job — something that is very difficult in our country for people with disabilities.”

The site also includes contributions from non-disabled writers, reflecting their view that accessibility is a shared responsibility rather than a closed conversation.

Why this resource may be useful

For disabled readers, ForAllWe may be useful if you’re looking for:

  • Discussion of accessible gaming beyond hardware and settings
  • Perspectives on digital accessibility rooted in lived experience
  • A community-led approach rather than corporate-led accessibility content

The team describe their aim as creating a space that brings information together in a more connected, people-focused way:

“We have a great deal of information and many sources available on the web, but our aim is to create something different: a home open to everyone, a place that can, over time, become a true point of reference for accessibility.”

Things to be aware of

ForAllWe is an editorial and community platform, not a service provider or product site. Content reflects the perspectives of individual contributors and the communities they work with, rather than formal guidance or professional advice.
