Happy 2017 Everyone!
Last year saw a lot of interesting events take place. We’re not going to list everything, but here’s a few things we’re proud of:
– Starting Disability United
– Launching a petition for Disabled Facilities Grants to be adequately funded
– Publishing great articles from our audience (yes, you lot!) on social care, airlines, music venues, buses, businesses and so much more…
– Our CEO Martyn Sibley announced as the 3rd most influential disabled person in the Power 100 awards
We can’t wait to see what progress 2017 will bring. Here’s just a few of our plans:
– Keep publishing great first person content from our growing audience
– Keep digging for the facts and figures that will help other campaigners push for change
– Work with as many other organisations as possible
– Reveal something shocking about Continuing Healthcare
– Reply to EHRC’s formal inquiry into housing for disabled people
– Reply to the Green Paper on Work, health and disability
– Have some fun on Disabled Access Day
– … and whatever else we can find
Happy 2017 everyone!
